GOOD MORNING MY BEAUTIFUL FACEBOOK FAMILY. Many of us were taught the Lord is my shepherd Prayer at an early age (Psalm 23). It's quite possible, that we've heard it so many times, that it's become more of a recital then a prayer. Last night, I had a wonderful visit with my cousin Paul and somehow we started to talk about Psalm 23. Here's a tiny glimpse of that awesome conversation/revelation. "He maketh me to lie down in green pastures." Sometimes God wants us to rest in the beauty of his presence. "He leadeth me beside the still waters." God not only wants us to rest, but also to be still. (Psalm 46:10). Once you have rested and become still you feel rejuvenated. "He restoreth my soul." As if that isn't powerful enough to take you through the rest of your life, Just a few verses down that scripture, it goes on to say "...Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil..." Well, the SHADOW of a gun can't shoot you, the shadow of a dog can not bite you. IT'S A SHADOW. EVEN the shadow of the tiniest object looks humongous. Needless to say, my cousin and I were absolutely amazed and flabbergasted at this revelation. You all know I had to share it with you my beautiful Facebook family. Wow! Wow! Wow!
